About Us
Diana Hughmanick's journey began when she discovered her profound love for coffee on a memorable trip to Tuscany with her husband, John. Immersed in the rich culture and artistry of espresso-making, Diana was inspired to bring that same dedication and craft back home. In 2011, Diana took her first steps into the world of coffee by joining a quaint village coffee house as a cashier. With a thirst for knowledge and a genuine love for coffee, she soon became a barista and took on administrative roles. Her dedication and hard work paid off when she and John became part owners, and later full owners, of the shop. They proudly renamed it Oak Creek Espresso.
Under Diana's leadership and in collaboration with the esteemed Greg Suekoff, Oak Creek Espresso quickly blossomed into a beloved cornerstone of the community. Oak Creek Espresso is not just a place to get your daily brew; it's a place where local high school and college students, as well as seasoned professionals, come together to create exceptional coffee experiences. Diana's team reflects the diverse fabric of the Verde Valley, bringing together different ages and backgrounds. Each member learns the ins and outs of our fast-paced environment, contributing to what many have called one of the best coffee experiences in Northern Arizona.
